Prevc and Damjan were in the lead after the first series with jumps of 137 and 135.5 metres, respectively and merely confirmed the form with excellent jumps in the second series.

This was the second World Cup victory for Prevc and the 36th for Slovenia.

The performance shows Slovenian jumpers will take leading roles in the Olympic Games, which start in Sochi on 7 February.

"I managed to get two excellent jumps. I was focused on the game and on the technique. Now I know what I have to to," the 21-year-old told Radio Slovenija.

Prevc is now in the lead in the World Cup rankings with 732 points, 11 ahead of Kamil Stoch of Poland.

A second event is scheduled in Sapporo on Sunday.
