The End of Secrets About Different Contracts in State Companies

In line with the amendment bill proposed by the coalition parties, data on all sponsorship agreements, consultancy contracts and management remuneration at state-controlled and municipal companies would be put into the public domain.

In an amendment added at committee, the proposed disclosures were expanded to include the list of assets transferred to the Bank Asset Management Company (BAMC), the country's bad bank. So far, the list has remained under wraps due to bank secrecy rules.

The data related to the assets would include the name of the client, the amount of the loan, the name of the person authorising the loan and the gross value of the loan.

MPs are also due to debate at first reading the undeclared work reform bill in a bid to expand the powers of state inspection bodies in uncovering undeclared work as well as to increase fines for violations.
