The school, founded in 2008, is the leading international school in Slovenia and is recognised as a quality British School Overseas by the UK Government. It offers IGCSE and A Level qualifications which allow its students to access top-rated universities across the world. Mr Cooksey, who completed his teacher training at the University of Cambridge, has over 20 years' experience of teaching in schools in the UK and the Middle East and came to Ljubljana in August 2013 from his previous position of Deputy Head of the New English School in Amman, Jordan. He is passionate about ensuring that every student at the school is given the opportunity to excel.
