Beverage company Pivovarna Laško, which holds 23% in Mercator, has already accepted the offer extending the deadline by the end of the month, while the other sellers, most of which are banks, are expected to do so by 2 PM on Wednesday.

The negotiations meanwhile continue, Pivovarna Laško said in a press release posted on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, after Agrokor had already extended the deadline for a restructuring deal by today last Friday.

The sale deal signed between the consortium and Agrokor in June 2013 enables Agrokor to withdraw its offer to take over Mercator without having to pay rescission damages if an agreement on loan restructuring is not reached.
