Slovenians Love Theatre
As many as 44% of those polled have been to the theatre at least once over the past year, while 14.5% have seen several theatre productions in the same period.
Three percent of the population, on the other hand, go to theatre as often as once a month.
Around 20% have visited a historical place, followed by museums (19.3%) and art galleries (8%).
While historical places and galleries are most interesting to the elderly (65-70 years), museums are most often visited by young people (15-29 years).
Interest in classical concerts and dance productions seems to be fairly equal, with around 23% going to at least one concert or dance production over the past year.
Interestingly, women are more attracted to art than men, with men being most interested in theatre and least in ballet.
More women than men also seem to be interested in books, with as many as 63% of them saying they have read a book over the past month as opposed to only 37% of men.
Film, on the other hand, seems to be the only form of art that is of equal interest to both.
Mediana polled 4,037 people aged 15 to 75 years.
