Parliament Against Marijuana Legalisation

Nekategorizirano

The bills on marijuana legalisation and self-treatment were filed by the Marijuana Social Club, a pro-legalisation groups, with voter signatures and stood little chance of approval.

As Health Ministry State Secretary Brigita Čokl pointed out the message of the bills seems to be that "medicine and pharma are corrupt and cannot be believed".

Nevertheless, the committee proposed that the Health Ministry examine the option of changing laws in order to allow the use of cannabis for medicinal use.

Čokl said the ministry had already proposed a change of the drug classification (marijuana is classified as a Schedule 1 drug).
