Erjavec will meet his counterpart Miroslav Lajčak for talks on economic cooperation as well as international issues such as Ukraine, the Western Balkans and EU affairs.

Meetings with President Ivan Gašparovič and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Jana Laššakova are also scheduled, the Foreign Ministry said.

Along with Slovakian Foreign Ministry State Secretary Petr Burian, Erjavec will address a Slovenian-Slovakian business forum.

Slovenia's exports to Slovakia were just over EUR 395m last year and imports were at EUR 349m, according to Statistics Office data.
