The bank has recently acquired another 2,800 clients in securities, following the decision by the government to wind down Factor banka.

The Austrian concern increased its total assets by 1.3% to EUR 6.7bn last year. The Slovenian branch, which is currently employing 78 people in five offices around the country, contributed some 10% to this figure, with its operating profit amounting to EUR 2.7bn.

Credit operations remain the most important segment of BKS in Slovenia. Last year it gave out EUR 600m, which was slightly less than the year before due to a stricter selection when approving loans.
