"I wish that the values represented here today - friendship, coexistence, tolerance, solidarity, faith in the future and hope for progress - would find home with all Slovenians," Pahor stressed.

He added that Slovenians needed these values as well as the will to find what is common because of their differences. According to Pahor, Slovenia must enable peace and create conditions for a better life.

Some 60 visitors came to visit the Presidential Palace on the open door day, as part of which the Green George visited the president. The ceremony was accompanied by folklore groups which presented old customs from Bela krajina.
