Fuel Prices Going Up Again
Premium unleaded petrol will be 2.5 cents dearer at EUR 1.529 a litre, while diesel will go up 1.2 cents to EUR 1.378 a litre. The price of heating oil will increase 1.6 cents to EUR 1.019 per litre.
The price rise comes two weeks after the government raised excise duties in order to make up for a part of the budget revenue lost with the abolishment of real estate tax by the Constitutional Court.
Retail prices of petroleum products are adjusted every two weeks in line with a government-imposed pricing model based on trends on the global oil market and the dollar-euro exchange rate.
