The group reported EUR 38.8m in revenues, while its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) reached EUR 9.5m last year.

The core company meanwhile reported EUR 31.7m in revenues, with EBITDA at EUR 7.1m and net profit at EUR 600,000.

With the exception of the net profit, the results are roughly at the 2012 level, the company said in a press release.

Terme Čatež recorded over 662,000 overnight stays last year, a drop of 0.3% over 2012.

While the number of Slovenian guests dropped by more than 4%, the number of foreigners rose by almost 4%.

The overnight stays at Terme Čatež represented almost 7% of all overnight stays in Slovenia and over 26% of all overnight stays at Slovenian natural spas.

The company plans to increase the number of overnight stays to over 713,000 this year.

It also plans to post net sales revenues to the tune of EUR 32.8m and rise its net profit to EUR 1.5m.

The group employed 510 staff in 2013, of which over 420 at the core company, the biggest in the group of seven companies.

Marina Portorož at the Slovenian coast and Terme Ilidža, a spa in the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo are also part of the group.
