If the election were held this Sunday, the SMC would get 38.5%, gaining 0.6 percentage pont from the last Epicenter's poll last week, while the SDS would get 25.1% (edging down 0.1 points from last week's poll). DeSUS would follow far behind with less than 9%, shows the survey, which was released Friday.

Following the first three are the joint list of the Social Democrats (SD) and Solidarity, while New Slovenia (NSi) and the People's Party (SLS) would also get into the parliament, claiming 6.2%, 5.6% and 4.1% of the votes, respectively.

Just under the 4% threshold ranked PM Alenka Bratušek's ZaAB and Positive Slovenia (PS) with 3.5% and 3.1%. The remaining parties are scoring around one percent.

The poll, which was carried out on Thursday and included 986 people, saw only 33% of the respondents saying they would attend the election.
