Production of power dropped 15% in hydro plants and 9% in thermal power plants, while the output of Krško nuclear plant was 4% lower than in the first half of last year.

A drop in electricity production was accompanied by a drop in fuel consumption in thermal power plants of 7%.

Statistics show the supply of most fuels was down except for the liquefied petroleum gas (+13%) and motor oil (+5%), as well fuels classified as other oil derivatives (+16%).

Slovenia exported 850 GWh of electricity and imported 621 GWh in June.
