Charging at the 135 kW station with six connections is free for owners of Tesla cars and allows fast charging times (20-40 minutes) compared to conventional chargers.

The station, powered with 100% green energy, is located in front of the hotel Four Points by Sheraton Ljubljana Mons, by the busy A1 motorway on the outskirts of the capital.

The station will allow Tesla owners to travel farther south in Europe, as it is the southernmost station in Eastern Europe, according to Four Points by Sheraton.

However, it will also be welcome for Slovenian Tesla owners, of which there are about two dozen, according to the news portal Siol.net.

While this is the first Tesla station in Slovenia, the company plans at least two more, according to information available on its website.
