The brief informal meeting will be dedicated to foreign policy topics and is aimed at maintaining regular contacts, the president's office has said.

Pahor and Josipović met most recently in Croatia's Dubrovnik in July at the South East European summit hosted by the pair which was also attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the Sotla tourism zone, set up by the eastern Slovenian municipality of Podčetrtek and its Croatian counterpart Zagorska sela, will be held on a bridge connecting the two countries.
