Gigodesign's exhibits include a folding bicycle BigFish, chair Beatnik with an integrated sound system and sail boat Seascape.

The presentation was organised in cooperation with the Slovenian Embassy in Budapest and the opening of the exhibition on Friday featured National Assembly Speaker Milan Brglez, who was in Budapest for a conference of parliamentarians from the Danube region.

He highlighted in his address the importance of creativity and innovation of contemporary design industry and called for closer regional cooperation among designers for the promotion of visual image of Central Europe, the Embassy said in a press release.

Last year's Design Week in Budapest featured over 220 events and was visited by 60,000 people.
