Exports "Exploded" in September, 14,2% Growth!
The trade surplus in September was the highest this year, at EUR 153.4m, while it is at EUR 284m for the first nine months in total after EUR 17.05bn worth of goods have been exported and EUR 16.77bn imported.
The value of the goods exported to EU members rose 16.1% year-on-year in September to 1.66bn, while imports were up 4.8% to EUR 1.53bn.
Non-EU markets accounted for EUR 493.9m, up 8.1%, of the exports and EUR 471.3m of import, which is a 16.7% increase.
In the January-September period Slovenia's main trading partners were Germany, Italy, Austria, Croatia and France.
The car industry was among the key exporters, while petroleum and oils obtained from bituminous minerals stand out among the imports.
