The magazine received the Muriel honorary award at the KomiksFEST! 2014 in Prague, where the collective behind it was also featured with the travelling exhibition "Attention, Work!".

The show, which has traversed Europe since the spring, features some 50 world-renowned comics authors from 12 countries. It shows the work as one of the sources where the human being can find the main driving force of his existence - the meaning of life.

Stripburger, labelled by the Prague organisers as the "legend of the comics underground", was first published in 1992 and currently in its 63rd volume.

But is is more than a magazine, it also organises exhibitions and workshops, and does various special projects in Slovenia and abroad.

Perhaps its best known project are special editions of the magazine, most notably Stripburek - Comics from the Other Europe, which focused on Eastern Slovenia.
