Letrika's Revenues Up
The core company, which was sold in June to German automotive parts manufacturer Mahle, generated EUR 150.5m in revenues in the period, up 5.9% year-on-year and 75.2% of the planned amount.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) at the group level stood at EUR 16.2m, while the core company's EBITDA amounted to EUR 11.6m.
At the end of September, the Letrika group based in Šempeter pri Gorici employed around 2,500 people, of which 1,972 in Slovenia.
"The last quarter unfortunately indicated a fall in demand, which means that the set plan will not be attained," Letrika said in the intermediate business report.
Nevertheless, Letrika continues with all activities related to long-term projects and integration projects as part of the Mahle group, the company added.
The new supervisory board of Letrika, featuring three representatives of the new owner and two representatives of workers, meanwhile met today for the maiden session to confirm current chairman Edvin Sever and board member Bojan Konič for another term starting on 1 December.
