Alpine Skiing: Maze Third in Super-G
"I've achieved my best performances so far in Lake Luis and I'm very happy about that. It shows that we're on the right track in super-G as well. The whole team is happy with the performance," Maze said after the race.
The 31-year-old double Olympic champion now has a total of 380 points and remains at the top of the overall World Cup standings with a 117-point advantage before the second-placed Anna Fenninger of Austria. Kathrin Zettel, also of Austria, is third, 130 points behind Maze.
The World Cup competition will continue in Sweden's Aare next weekend.
