Petrol Projects 6% Profit Rise for 2015 Despite Lower Sales

The profit guidance comes after the supervisory board was briefed Thursday on projections showing that the company will end the year with a profit of just over EUR 60m on sales worth EUR 4bn.

The plan for next year also involves an expansion of the network of service stations in Serbia and the Balkans, by nine to 486.

Investments, projected to stand at EUR 64.5m, will be channelled into expansion of the oil business (50%) and growth of the non-oil energy segment (40%), including electricity, gas and energy efficiency projects.

The supervisors also confirmed a business plan through 2019 which sets a sales target of EUR 4.5bn for 2019 and a net profit of EUR 79m.

Petrol reported group sales of EUR 3bn for January-September, up 2% over the year before, while net profit rose 3% to EUR 45.7m.
