Following Maze, who nabbed her 14th career giant slalom World Cup win, were Sara Hector of Sweden (+0.20), and Eva Maria Brehm of Austria (+0.28), who led after the first run.

"I'm very surprised. I returned from Canada only two days ago and I was virtually sleepwalking," Maze said about her 26th career win, blaming the error she had made in the first run on jet lag.

Two more Slovenian skiers scored points today, with Ana Drev finishing 14th (+1.94) and Katarina Lavtar 24th.
