Foreign guest accounted for 60% of the overnight stays and were mostly from Austria, Italy, Germany, Russia and Croatia.

The favourite destinations were municipalities with spa resorts, which accounted for 35% of the overnight stays, followed by coastal municipalities, whose share was 20%.

In the first ten months this year, slightly over three million arrivals were recorded, which is 3% more than in the same period last year.

The arrivals figure for domestic tourists was down 2% while it increased by 6% for foreign guests, who however made for 8.36m overnight stays, 1% less than last year.
