Prevc (276.9 points), who was also third in Monday's opening event in Oberstdorf, only had to concede to Anders Jacobsen of Norway (286.0 points) and Swiss veteran Simon Ammann (279.4).

No other Slovenian made it among the top 30 today.

Prevc is now only behind Austria's Stefan Kraft, the winner of Oberstdorf, ahead of the third hill of the tournament in Innsbruck on Sunday.
