Košir, 30, beat the Italian Christoph Mick in the finals and is now at 1,600 points overall, 400 point behind Roland Fischnaller of Austria.

"I'm glad I've shown once again I'm capable of winning...Bad Gastein really works well for me," he told Austrian broadcaster ORF.

Košir's only other World Cup win was in Bad Gastein in 2013.
