Prevc managed a jump of 131.5 metres in the first series, out-jumping Kraft by two metres but being hit with a point deduction due to more favourable wind conditions. The difference between the two was 2.2 points.

The results were subsequently upheld as final when the second series was cancelled due to strong gusts.

Third place went to Germany's Severin Freund, who jumped 129.5 metres but finished 6.6 points behind the winner.

With the win, Kraft leapfrogged his compatriot Michael Hayböck, who was fourth today, for the overall World Cup lead. Prevc is third with 714 points, 83 behind the leader.

Out of the three other Slovenian competitors who scored points today, Jernej Damjan's 128.5-metre effort was good enough for seventh place.
