Ski Jumping: Slovenia 3rd in Zakopane Team Event
The team featuring Jurij Tepeš, Nejc Dežman, Jernej Damjan and Peter Prevc was fourth after the first series, clinching podium in the final set of jumps in the second series as Peter Prevc trumped Anders Fannemel to secure Slovenia a two-point edge over Norway.
Prevc landed at 129 metres in both jumps, with Damjan contributing the lengths of 120.5m and 136.5m as the second best member of the Slovenian team.
Slovenia won a total of 1018.4 points. Germany secured 1,050.6 and Austria 1035.7 points.
Slovenia won the Zakopane team event last year and the year before.
