Stoch was a class of his own, leaving the competition far behind with 276.6 points from two jumps. Slovenia's rising star managed 262.3 points, and was closely followed by Freund (261.8).

Slovenia had two more jumpers in the top ten, with Jurij Tepeš finishing fifth (254.2 points) and Jernej Damjan tenth (238.5).

World Cup festivities in Willingen will continue on Saturday and Sunday with a team event and another individual event, respectively.
