The Koper-Divača application will be submitted under the open part of the call for applications.

Projects in this segment are eligible for 30%-40% co-financing and compete against each other based on merit.

Two more projects, the upgrade of the Poljčane-Slovenska Bistrica section and a siding at the Koper freight station, will be submitted as part of the national quota.

In this segment, called national envelopes, EUR 159m is set aside for Slovenia.

The results are expected in June or July and agreements on the allocation of grants are to be signed by the end of the year.
