Parliamentary Plenary Starts with Q&A Session

The opposition plans to quiz Cerar about the upgrade of the Koper-Divača rail track and the possible privatisation of port operator Luka Koper and rail operator Slovenske železnice.

Cerar will also be faced with the question of how he intends to prevent political staffing in the appointment of supervisors at the Slovenia Sovereign Holding (SSH).

The Democrats (SDS) will ask him about the integrity of office holders, and Cerar's own party expects explanations about measures to speed up the economic recovery.

The Q&A session marks the beginning of a probably the busiest session for the current parliament.

Not only will MPs vote on key legislation instituting marriage equality, they will also decide on a package of amendments dealing with the judiciary.
