There was little substance apart from the name change to the Party of the Modern Centre and no attendance from influential political figures outside of the party, Delo writes under "Building Up Confidence".

Assessing that the party's strong position in parliament has contributed to stabilisation of the political landscape, the paper says that the SMC is also benefiting from an improving economy.

But the party has also been sent an important message from the European Liberals, who have said that the SMC must seize the opportunity it has been given. "If it fails to take smart measures for the good of the people, the party faces being erased from the political landscape," concludes the paper.
