Košir was the top finisher in the qualifications, but thanks to a mistake lost to Konstantin Shipilov of Russia in the quarter-finals.

Shipilov finished third, behind Italy's Roland Fischnaller in first and Austria's Benjamin Karl in second.

A double Olympic medallist from Sochi, Košir is the first Slovenian snowboarder to win the overall World Cup victory.
