The "4 Gats" (Four cats) exhibition, which is admission free, takes its name from a Barcelona cafe where the leading artists of the early 20th century socialised.

While each of them introduced new horizons to the artistic expression of 20th century painting, all four great Spanish painters were also very productive in graphic arts, producing major works in the field.

Miro mastered all graphic techniques and Tapies often appears to have added a third dimension to his prints, while Picasso and Dali were the masters of clean and seductive line dominating their graphic space, the gallery said.

The displayed works come from the private collection of the family Vujić, which comprises more than 50 works. They were first displayed at the Belgrade New moment gallery in September last year.

Visconti Fine Art was established in Italy's Milan in 1973 before moving to Ljubljana in 1991. It has one of the biggest collections of pop art in the region as well as contemporary art works from Slovenia and the former Yugoslavia.
