The national telco was followed by energy company Petrol, which shed 0.89% to EUR 277, and retailer Mercator, which was down 0.69% to EUR 72.

Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav meanwhile led the winners with a gain of 1.07% to EUR 28.40, followed by household appliance maker Gorenje (+0.93% to EUR 5.45) and port operator Luka Koper (+0.69 to EUR 24.90).

Drug maker Krka was up 0.66% to EUR 62.51 and reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava edged 0.09% higher to EUR 16.20.

Petrol was the most coveted item with EUR 281,800 in volumes, followed by Krka (EUR 190,420). Brokers wrapped up a total of EUR 1.09m in deals.
