Export Growth Rebounds
The trend was driven by higher exports to EU countries, in particular the biggest trading partners, and lower imports from non-EU countries, the statisticians said.
Exports to the EU rose 7.9% on the year before and imports 4.1%. The EU thus accounted for 77.8% of total exports and 78.2% of imports.
In the first two months of 2015 exports rose 1.9% on the same period last year while imports were up 2.2% Slovenia had a trade surplus of EUR 18.7m.
