Nekategorizirano

The selected books contain signatures, dedications or notes handwritten by the authors, illustrators, translators or prominent figures that owned them or presented them as gifts to others.

Displayed at the bookshop just opposite Ljubljana City Hall, the books will be available for buying or just viewing daily until 30 April.

Prices will range between five euros for newer editions and EUR 30-40 for older ones. The 1958 debut poetry collections by acclaimed poets Dane Zajc (1929-2005) and Veno Taufer (1933) will go for EUR 50 and 40, respectively.

The most expensive book on offer is a rare example of Stari Grki (the Ancient Greeks) by Anton Sovre (1885-1963), Slovenia's greatest translator of Ancient Greek literature.

The well-preserved leather-bound edition with the author's signature of 1940 will be offered for EUR 180.

The antiquarian bookshop will also observe its 50th anniversary with lectures on old maps and old postcards on 21 and 22 April.
