Nekategorizirano

The amendments to the companies act are an attempt to crack down on unfair business practices that often leave creditors and employees empty-handed.

The cabined its unlikely to avoid a debate on the fate of the national telco following reports that UK private equity firm Cinven is the only bidder for a 73% stake in Telekom. This raised questions about whether the firm will finally be privatised.

PM Miro Cerar said yesterday he was waiting to get "comprehensive information" in the coming days before he speaks his mind about the sale. The topic is also expected to be discussed at today's meeting of the coalition parties.

A strategy for the management of state assets, which was originally planned to be adopted by 16 April, is meanwhile not expected to be on the agenda as Finance Minister DuĊĦan Mramor is currently in the United States.
