Cold Front Brings Snow to Low-Lying Areas

Nekategorizirano

A rain mixed with snow in several parts of the country, including Ljubljana and the northern Gorenjsko region, meteorologist Brane Gregorčič told the STA today. But the snowflakes melted as they touched the ground.

Higher-lying areas meanwhile got a few-centimetre thick snow cover. The most snow, between five and ten centimetres, fell on the Bloška planota plateau, Krim and Rakitna, just south of Ljubljana.

Precipitation should stop by evening and Slovenians will wake up to a clear, sunny morning on Sunday. The sunny weather will continue next week, but mornings will be chilly.
