The ministers will be addressed at the Brdo pri Kranju estate by President Borut Pahor, who initiated the Brdo Process five years ago.

Today's meeting will focus on ways to create better prospects for the young from the region, especially in education.

The ministers will also discuss security and political stability issues, including the Ukraine crisis and the migrant crisis in the Mediterranean.

They will also exchange information on efforts to fight terrorism, including the issues of radicalisation and recruiting of foreign fighters.

Regional transport and energy infrastructure will also be on the agenda along with the disastrous flooding that hit Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia last May.

Apart from the foreign ministers of Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo and Montenegro, the meeting will feature the foreign ministers of Austria, Croatia and Italy. Albania and Germany will be represented by foreign ministry state secretaries.

In the afternoon, Erjavec and his French counterpart will address the press together with European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, who will also attend the conference.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Slovenian foreign minister will hold bilateral meeting with Fabius, who will be on a working visit to Slovenia, and with Bosnian and Montenegrin foreign ministers, Igor Crnadak and Nikola Poposki, respectively.
