Prior to the party, skier Tina Maze, ski jumper Peter Prevc, snowboarder Žan Košir, freestyle skier Filip Flisar and others will be received by President Borut Pahor.

After the reception at the Presidential Palace, the athletes will head to the party in central Ljubljana. A stage is to be set up at Congress Square and the event will also feature an appearance by pop band Tabu.

In the evening, the Ski Association will host a gala reception for the athletes in Union Hotel, which will be broadcast live on national television.

"The Evening of Champions will be a chance to express our gratitude to athletes of the Ski Association of Slovenia, which brought us so much joy with exceptional results in the past season," association head Enzo Smrekar said ahead of the event.
