Telekom Slovenije Launching LTE-Based IP Bundle

Bundled IP services offering users television, telephony and internet access have until now been available in Slovenia only over fixed lines, on A-DSL and FTTH broadband networks.

The telecoms incumbent said mobile IP bundles will allow expansion to users who lack a land line, either because they lack a connection in their house or because they live in remote rural area where a broadband fixed network does not exist.

"The user experience will be fully comparable to that on the fixed line," said company representative Matjaž Beričič.

The service, which has been developed fully in-house, will be provided to the user via a set of equipment containing a modem, set-top box and antennas.

Telekom Slovenije currently reaches around 84% of the Slovenian population with its fourth-generation mobile network.
