The Expatriate Club, was established in 2013 with the mission to establish, maintain and strengthen the relationships among the board level expatriates living in Slovenia, foreign Ambassadors living in Slovenia, and Slovene board level expatriates working abroad. Furthermore, The Club encourages continuous learning and an exchange of ideas and expertise in management and international business through top level networking events.

With the same mission, combined with charity activities throughout the day, the Expatriate golf tournament was organized. The golfers found the greens running fast along with some mixed weather throughout the day, including rain, but that did not stop them from having fun while playing. In the spirit of charity the tournament was a huge success, raising more than 15.000 EUR, which will be donated to a young, high potential from Slovenia, who is considering international studies that would help him in pursuing his expatriate business career. The Club partnered with the best business school in the world, IMD Lausanne, which will provide leadership education to the award recipient. The day ended with official dinner and festive guests enjoying the whole experience.
