Chrome Overtakes Firefox as Slovenia's Browser of Choice
Around 35% use Chrome, which has been gaining ground for years, against 34% who use Mozilla's Firefox.
Microsoft's Internet Explorer continues to lose ground and is at almost 21%, while Apple's Safari has been on the ascent and has hit a market share of 9%, shows Iprom's survey of 1.45 million Slovenian internet users.
The last time Iprom, a digital communications firm, analysed browser market shares, in October 2013, Firefox was at 37% with Chrome and Internet Explorer almost tied at around 30%.
The sea-change in browser preferences was already established by Gemius, a digital consultancy, in early 2014 based on Slovenian users' page views.
