The event, organised by the Slovenian Marketing Society and the Finance Business Academy, will look at examples of best-practice and analyse failures.

The organisers also want to discuss the apparent lack of ambition in Slovenia, a state they call "we know everything, we just don't do anything about it".

For the first time, the conference will also give out an award for marketing excellence.

The star presenter this year is British business guru Robert Craven.
