This will be the fifth time in a row and the sixth time overall that Slovenian men qualify for Europe's top volleyball event.

The European Championships will be played in Bulgaria and Italy in October. Slovenia will play in Group C in Varna against world champions Poland, Belarus and Belgium.

Earlier this week Slovenian ladies qualified for the European Championships for the first time ever.
