Slovenia Sells T-Bills Worth EUR 84M
The 12-month T-bills attracted 169,230 lots of bids, 79,230 of which were accepted by the Finance Ministry at the uniform price of 99.788%.
The interest rates offered ranged between 0.10% and 0.35% annually. Based on the uniform price accepted the annual nominal interest rate is 0.21%. The maturity falls on 9 June, 2016.
The auction of six-month T-bills drew 15,000 lots of bids, of which 5,000 were accepted at the uniform price of 99.97%.
The bids ranged from the annual interest rate of 0.02% and 0.2%. Based on the uniform price, the nominal annual rate of interest is 0.06%. The maturity date of the issue is 10 December this year.
This is the fourth short-term issue this year and comes less than a month after the country sold EUR 58.5m of 12-month T-bills and EUR 5m of six-month T-bills with coupon rates of 0.19% and 0.02%, respectively.
