Underwater World Photographs on Display in Ljubljana Castle

The exhibition "Underwater World" will feature photographs taken by Borut Furlan, Matej Vranič, Andrej Voje and Arne Hodalič, who have published their underwater photographs in the Slovenian edition of National Geographic.

Furlan is a synonym for Slovenian underwater photography and belongs among the world's elite in the field. He has won numerous international awards, including for best nature-themed feature among all local editions of National Geographic in 2014.

Vranič is one of the main wildlife photographers of National Geographic Slovenia. He has so far published seven features, winning a Best Edit award conferred by the National Geographic Society, headquartered in Washington, the US.

Voje is an experienced underwater photographer who has put on display a number of solo exhibitions and has published in numerous printed and electronic media.

Hodalič is one of the most acclaimed Slovenian photographers, whose underwater photos from the Ljubljanica river were published in the English edition of National Geographic.

The exhibition at Ljubljana castle is part of a series of photo exhibitions called "Countries, People - Nature, Wonders".

Part of the series were also an exhibition of photographs by Steve McCurry in 2012, exhibitions of photographs of India and of the Ljubljanica river (by Hodalič) in 2013 and the exhibition "National Geographic - 50 Best Photos" last year.
