Weather: Heavy Rain

Nekategorizirano

Between 50 and 100 litres of rain per square metre is expected in the north, west and central parts of the country, with the Environment Agency warning of the possibility of smaller streams bursting their banks.

Showers that may be thundery in some parts will make their way into the country from the north on Tuesday morning and gradually spread across the country with heavy downpours in areas.

The cold front will bring a drop in temperatures and the winds will change. Morning lows will be between 11 and 15 Celsius, 19 on the coast, and daytime between 12 and 21, up to 25 in Primorsko in the west.

The rain will peter out by Wednesday morning, except in the south. The skies will clear up in Primorsko, but it will be unsettled with isolated showers elsewhere.

Thursday should be fine and warmer, although with some fog in the valleys in the morning.
