The number of overnight stays generated by domestic guests was up by 8%, while the number of overnight stays by foreigners rose by 6%.

In the January-April period, a total of 881,000 tourists visited Slovenia, which is 10% more than in the same period last year.

In April, Slovenia's tourist facilities recorded around 640,000 overnight stays, which is 6% more than in April 2014. The number of tourist visits was up 11% to almost 266,000.

The number of visits by domestic guests was up by 16% and the number of overnight stays by 10% in April. The number of visits and overnight stays by foreign guests was up by 8% and 4%, respectively.
