Apart from being the biggest payout every by the Slovenian Lottery for the national lotto game it is also the maximum jackpot possible, with the amount capped at EUR 5m and the surplus funds being divided among the smaller prizes.

The previous record payout for the Slovenian lotto was a EUR 4.9m in 2012.

The biggest lotto jackpot overall in Slovenia is the EUR 28m prize won in April last year as part of the Eurojackpot, a syndicated lotto game featuring about a dozen European lotteries.
